    • Flare tube enlargement

    Flare pipe expansion broadens tubes by supplying a flared form to the ends of the pipes while also appearing as tensile stress reinforcement. This kind of pipe expansion is most commonly found in boiler tubes. BK-type tube expanders are used for this form of work.

When the tube is heated, it becomes more pliable, and the expander is not required to work as hard to expand it.
